At Present Inc., we have Japanese copywriters (writers) who are fluent in everyday English conversation and can use English to gather information for magazines and other purposes. |
If you are seeking copywriters (writers) for interviewing foreigners about their daily lives and creating manuscripts using the material gathered, speak to us!
As the following cases show, Present Inc. has a proven track record of conducting English interviews where the content is of an everyday nature. We are also prepared to handle a range of situations, for example, approaching foreigners who are sightseeing in Asakusa and using English to explain what we are doing and conduct simple on-the-spot interviews. |
We do not possess the English capabilities required to use specialized terminology and conduct interviews with researchers or hold in-depth discussions with corporate CEOs on management; however, we would have an interpreter accompany us in such cases. Nevertheless, in a situation like this, we could certainly gather information more efficiently than a copywriter (writer) who couldn’t speak any English at all. |

(1)Interview with foreign members of an exclusive sports club for publication in an informative magazine for members.
|
“Attending the club was the best way for us to meet Japanese people.”
“I meet my wife at the club on the way home from work and we usually enjoy playing squash together.
We came to Japan from Australia 1 year and 3 months ago and visited a number of clubs in the city before deciding to join this one in September, due to its sophisticated facilities and great service.”
“My husband and I started going to the club together because we thought that attending a club would be a good way for us to meet Japanese people.
I’ve made lots of friends, including the ladies who play squash, and we really enjoy relaxing and playing sports in our neighbourhood.”
|
(2) Interview with foreigners for a special feature in a recruitment magazine. * We interviewed a German woman in English. |
“I’m now living in Tokyo.”
We spoke with a German woman who was renting a room at XXXXX.
“I’m currently working for an architectural firm where I’m gaining all kinds of experience in the area of architecture.
Tokyo is a most exciting city, but step into any modern street and you’ll find shrines and temples. Here, tradition and modernity exist side by side and that’s why it’s such an appealing city. I also really like this tatami room ? so much so that I am thinking about taking a tatami back home with me when I return to Germany.”
|
(3) Interview with foreigners for a special feature in a recruitment magazine. *We approached foreign tourists in “Nakamise,” the main street of Asakusa, Tokyo, and conducted on-the-spot interviews. |
“We’re going shopping in Tokyo.”
We interviewed two groups of foreigners who were strolling along Nakamise.
These two foreigners came to Japan 1 year ago and are studying at Osaka University. They commented on the kindness and thoughtfulness of Japanese people. The souvenirs that they intended to purchase in Tokyo were games and cards.
This foreign married couple had been to Hiroshima and Inuyama. They had recently learned the following expressions in Japanese: “Thank you,” ”Excuse me,” and “Do you know…”
